SFA Construction & Design was created to bring design, engineering, and construction together in a single, accountable entity. We operate as a dedicated design-build company, working in close collaboration with SFA Design Group to deliver projects that are thoughtfully designed, properly engineered, and professionally executed.
Our clients do not have to coordinate between separate designers, engineers, and contractors. We do that. From concept through completion, responsibility stays at the top.

Founder
Jeff founded SFA Design Group with a clear standard: engineering must be precise, practical, and grounded in real-world constructability. Over the years, he has built a firm known for integrity, responsiveness, constructible solutions, and technical depth.
SFA Construction & Design extends those commitments and values into the field, ensuring that what is drawn and engineered is executed correctly, efficiently, and with long-term durability in mind.
Darrel Becker
Director
Darrel brings decades of hands-on construction experience, building design capability, and field leadership to the company. A master carpenter and designer, he understands both the details on paper and corresponding realities in the field.
His role is simple: protect the client’s investment. That means disciplined estimating, thoughtful design, clear communication, and jobsite execution that matches the plans.
He believes construction should be direct, transparent, and well-engineered — not improvised.
Our Approach
We work primarily in residential homes, remodels, additions, ADUs, structural retrofits, and select commercial tenant improvements.
Our focus is mid- to upper-tier projects where design quality, structural integrity, and professional coordination matter.
We are not a volume contractor.
We are a leadership-driven firm.
